I've created this resource to try and help in some small way. It includes a link to charities you can donate to, resources for those creating a fundraising appeal, a list of 50 grant makers that work in the Ukraine and a source of pro bono security advice for those who are.
The Ukrainian's need our help, but no doubt the scammers will soon be out in force. UK Fundraising in collaboration with others has created a list of organisations providing support and seeking donations. Or consider donating to the DEC Ukraine Appeal.
Please donate. I have.
If you're planning to create a fundraising campaign to support Ukraine, here's a toolbox of crisis fundraising articles, resources and case studies from SOFII.
If you're one of the briliiant charities opertaing on the ground in the Ukraine, you may wish to be aware of Stabilisation.eu. They provide non-profits with bono human safety and security advice and have previously worked there.
This is the a list of charities that are listed as being primarily grant makers and working in the Ukraine. It has been cleaned up as much as possible. These are listed in order of annual spend. You can also register with Charity Excellence and use its Funding Finder database to search the UK, Europe and globally for suitable funders. It's completely free. Register here.
